The second day of the educational games – NiCok Fun Challenge inter-school scrabble and chess tournament was filled with excitement, and intellectual prowess. As the competition heats up, students are giving their all to secure top spots and make their schools proud. The game took place on the 26^th September 2025 hosted by HHCJ Assumpta Girls Model Secondary School. The Students battled out in thrilling matches, showcasing their skills and strategies in these IQ stimulating board games.

The games for the day were round 2 and round 3 in the scrabble and chess doubles fixtures, as well as two matches each in the scrabble and chess singles group stage.

Highlights of the Scrabble Game:

• Interesting Matches: Students showcased their linguistic proficiency, crafting words that left their opponents stunned.
• Notable Matches: Baptist High School vs Holy Rosary International College in the scrabble singles pre-rounds resulted in a nail-biting finish, with Baptist High School emerging victorious.
• Game-Changing Plays: Players from Father Cloonan Memorial Secondary school made a remarkable play, racking up points and changing the game’s momentum in the third round of the scrabble doubles game.
• Top Contenders: In the scrabble doubles players from St. Pauls international Boys secondary school are currently leading the pack with Christ Foundation Secondary School following closely, but the competition remains fierce.

Highlights of the Chess Game:

• Strategic Masterclass: Players demonstrated exceptional strategic thinking, with some making remarkable moves to gain a tactical advantage.
• Intense Matches: We experienced intense and vibrant matches, with each player fighting for victory.
• Crucial Wins: Baptist High School secured crucial wins, in the chess singles pre-round securing a spot in the next round of games. While in the chess doubles, Father Cloonan Memorial Secondary School and Holy Ghost College are head to head at the top of the Chart, but the competition remains fierce.
